Recognition and Honors

We are so fortunate for the support we’ve received from our allies and other advocates fighting for a #HarassmentFreeNY.

On May 30th, 2019, the Bay Ridge Democrats honored SHWG and District Leader Tori Kelly as Changemakers.

On June 5th, 2019, the New Kings Democrats honored SHWG for our progressive reform work. Hear Leah Hebert’s acceptance speech here.

We were so proud on June 19, 2019 to be recognized by the NYS legislators in their votes as they passed this year’s revolutionary sexual harassment bill.

The most important recognition and honor we have received is when a worker thanks us for our advocacy. We are humbled, grateful, and inspired to keep pushing.

Thank you!!
